Meet Your Host

Hosting us for a second year running is the founder of Choux, an engineer and businesswoman.

She has a passion for delicious food and helping women develop into successful business leaders through modelling consistency and excellence.

This year our key note speaker is Lindi Mokganya.

Lindi is a management consultant at a top-tier global consulting firm. Alongside her career, she is also a co-founder of Gospel Harvest International, a non-profit evangelistic ministry that operates in various regions across Africa, which she and her husband established in 2017. Currently, Lindi is pursuing an MPhil in Development Finance at Stellenbosch Business School, with a passion to drive positive change in Africa. During her leisure time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, listening to faith teachings, and exploring nature reserves.

Our classes are back and this time we’re teaching you guys how to ganache.

This is the single most beneficial skill for a baker, especially in humid climate like Durban.

We’ll teach you about the different types of chocolates, chocolate applications, covering cakes with ganache and everything will be in a step-by-step training workbook you can take home.

I absolutely loved making this. A very close friend of mine lost her niece recently. Knowing the pain of loosing a child I know very well the emotions she’s feeling.

So I was overjoyed when a mutual friend asked me to make something for her to remind her that we are here for her, we love her, we see her.
