COST ACCOUNTANT ( Port Elizabeth)
Our client in the automotive manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced cost accountant from the manufacturing environment. You need to have a minimum of 3 years' related working experience. You require a BCom degree, Automate software experience and SAP B1. Microsoft Office suite and Excel experience is mandatory.
• New credit facility account approval procedure control and existing credit
status review including maintaining all credit applications with vendors.
• Managing all inventory and cash accounts, (would suggest this is a task on its
own) processing accounts for batch purchase order imports
• Processing CKD from in transit to arrival
• Coordinating physical inventory counts and cycle counts
• Reviewing and updating standard costs in the bill of materials
• Accumulating and applying overhead costs as per GAAP
• Constructing a data accumulation system for a cost accounting system
• Assuming responsibility for reporting on cash flow, creditors and fixed assets
• Reviewing prepared payments
• Monthly Budget Reports& Monthly Budget VS Actual
• Report on break even point by production, work centers, and PE factory
• Reporting on periodic variances
• Assisting Financial Manager with all related queries
• Submitting monthly and yearly reports to the FM

Our client in the automotive/manufacturing sector requires a trade tested millwright with a N6 qualification and 3-5 years' relevant working experience. a supervisor/management qualification would be an advantage. You must be willing to work overttime when requested. Your duties will include but not be limited to the following: Fault finding/programme Siemens S7 PLC’s, troubleshooting with relevant techniques, conduct routine inspections on machinery and ensure work is conducted in a secure way. You will have to determine and set zero points on assembly equipment, Install and maintain mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems and be responsible for setting up leak test units (ATEQ) and measuring equipment.
You require the following experience:
Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics.

Knowledge of motor control and drives.
Fault finding on CNC machines
Replacement of balls screws, pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders etc. on
