Meet Stompie π
He is an 11 year old mixed breed dog currently attending physiotherapy following surgery for a cranial cruciate ligament rupture (CCLR).
Recovery after cruciate surgery involves more than healing the surgical site. It is also about rebuilding strength, restoring mobility, and helping patients return to comfortable, confident movement.
Stompie's rehabilitation programme focuses on supporting his recovery, improving hind limb strength, and helping him regain the function needed for everyday activities.
At 11 years old, maintaining muscle mass and mobility is especially important, and we look forward to supporting him throughout his recovery journey.
π If your dog is recovering from a cruciate injury, our eBook: Your Guide to Managing Canine Cranial Cruciate Ruptures provides practical guidance on supporting recovery and rehabilitation at home.

π If your dog is preparing for surgery or recovering post operatively, we would be happy to assist.

Meet Gutch π
He is an almost 13 year old Labrador receiving physiotherapy support for age related weakness, discomfort, and suspected hip dysplasia.
As dogs age, it is common to see a gradual decline in hind limb strength and mobility, often affecting comfort, stability, and overall quality of life. Gutchβs sessions focus on strengthening his back legs, supporting joint function, and helping relieve some of the strain and discomfort associated with ageing.
Regular maintenance therapy can make a meaningful difference in helping senior dogs stay comfortable, active, and engaged in daily life.
π Our eBook Hip Hurdles Unraveled: A Comprehensive Guide to Canine Hip Dysplasia offers practical guidance on supporting mobility and joint health at home.

π If your senior dog is starting to slow down or struggle with mobility, we would be happy to assist.

Meet Kaiser π
He is an almost 2 year old German Shepherd beginning his rehabilitation journey πΎ
Kaiser presented with significant weakness through his hind limbs and discomfort affecting his movement. At this stage, hip dysplasia is suspected, and further investigations, including radiographs, will help provide a clearer diagnosis and guide his long term management plan.
For now, our focus is on helping Kaiser build strength, improve comfort, and support his movement while we gather more information. As with every patient, treatment is adapted as their needs evolve and more becomes known about their condition.
π If your dog has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia or is showing signs of hind limb weakness, our eBook Hip Hurdles Unraveled: A Comprehensive Guide to Canine Hip Dysplasia offers practical guidance on supporting joint health and mobility.
Link can be found in our Bio.
π If your dog is showing changes in movement or signs of discomfort, early intervention can make a meaningful difference.

Meet Cupcake π
She is a young American Bully already beginning her rehabilitation journey πΎ
Cupcake recently sustained a soft tissue injury in her hind leg, and while she may still be small, early support can make a significant difference during growth and recovery.
For young dogs, rehabilitation is not only about healing an injury. It is also about supporting healthy movement patterns and helping developing bodies build strength in the right way.
We are looking forward to watching this little one grow stronger with each session.
π If your puppy has had an injury or you have noticed changes in movement, early intervention can make all the difference. We would be happy to assist.
Tinker on the Treadmill π
This is a simple but effective way to work on gait training and strength, especially for dogs needing support with how they move.
It might look like an easy walk, but there is a lot happening in each step.
π If your dog could benefit from guided physiotherapy, we would be happy to assist.

Meet Lola π
She is a Labrador receiving physiotherapy support for lumbar IVDD and stifle arthritis.
When she first came to us, Lola showed significant weakness and lameness through her hindquarters, affecting both her comfort and mobility. Through a structured rehabilitation programme, focusing on strength, stability, and controlled movement, she has already made encouraging progress.
Improvement in cases like this is often gradual, but with the right support, dogs can regain strength, confidence, and a better quality of life.
π If your dog has been diagnosed with IVDD, our eBook βYour Guide to Recovery: Intervertebral Disc Diseaseβ offers guidance on supporting recovery and long-term spinal health.
π If your dog could benefit from guided physiotherapy, we would be happy to assist.
Molly's first hydrotherapy session πΎ
From tentative beginnings to confident movement, this session was all about introducing water in a way that felt manageable for her.
With initial support and a gradual transition, she was able to settle, find her rhythm, and move with increasing confidence.
This session was guided by a student who joined us for a few days of shadowing under close supervision. A special moment to see both patient and student grow in confidence.
Each program is adapted to the individual, allowing every patient to progress at a pace that feels sustainable.
π If your dog could benefit from hydrotherapy, reach out to us.
πΆ "Just keep swimming....".. oh wait, never mind π΄π€£
Rupert's post swim nap game is strong, and honestly we can't blame him!
Hydrotherapy is a great workout for dogs recovering from hip surgery or problems.
π¦ Double tap if your dog would go from swim champ to snooze king like Rupert!
