Winter Fire Breaks are vital!

Most people have never...
Shops don't test for fake honey or adulterated honey.
Moreover, when CSIR in South Africa did a few years back they find that at least 1/3 bottles of shop shelf honey from our biggest and best retailers in South Africa were in some way blended or not completely just 100% honey.
There are companies and sellers that mix or blend their honey with corn syrup or rice syrup and or other types of ingredients to either make fake honey or to blend it so that cheaper syrups make up up to 50% of the contents from a bottle or jar you and I buy in the shops!
Europe also found that at least 45% of the bottles and jars being sold from over 300 tested were in some way not 100% honey and had other ingredients in it-besides honey!
This is why it is VERY IMPORTANT to challenge people to support local beekeepers. By challenge, I mean to ask them if they know that they are actually paying for expensive syrup when they buy honey!
Carte Blanche did an investigation a few years back also tracking and testing many well-known brands in South Africa and exposed the fake honey supply that is going on...
