Sunday started with the scrutineers after which the riders went out on a short two lap first stage just t loosen their joints and suspension for the upcoming week.

Very few words can describe how awesome it was to have you on the 2016 Amageza Rallye across the arid Northern tip of the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. I absolutely enjoyed your company immensely. Every competitor, every crew member, every marshal and every sponsor. You were all a blast to have along. A special thanks for those who traveled long distances to get to the race. What a absolute privilege to have spent this week with you. Today I feel a bit poorer for your absence, but rich in the knowledge that new friendships were forged that transience languages, borders, races and politics. You are the best! - Alexander-

Prepping for the Amageza...nothing can be left to chance...boy what a lot of stuff 😂

Its once in my lifetime that i get the opportunity to realize a dream. Thanks to a lot of very generous people I have the opportunity to partake in this years Amageza Rally. Without you this would not have been possible. I would like to thank all involved from the bottom of my heart, you are all very special people. It is impossible to name everybody involved somehow in the preparation for the race. Thank you all...I will do my best and hopefully make you proud!
