Oh boy are we excited for after a successful test day!
The M250D boasts some significant upgrades since last year’s Simola Hill Climb and we are so happy to say that it has come together perfectly thus far!

So do you know how valve float can happen?
BMW N57/N47 diesel engines has very weak springs from factory. This causes these engines to stop power production with higher boost pressures , issue gets worse with more boost and exhaust manifold pressure.
If the valve springs are weak, the springs may not be able to push the valves all the way shut before the next opening cycle begins. If the valves fail to close, the cylinders will lose compression causing the engine to misfire and loose power.
Fitting performance/stiffer valve springs can prevent valve float.
We fit valve springs in place without removing the head.
PS almost ready for our test runs before Simola Hill Climb.

We have received confirmation that the M250D is currently the fastest Diesel Powered Modified Saloon to ever go up the hill at Simola Hillclimb!
We have also hit an all time high Boost level of 4 Bar!

We are done for the weekend!
Our best time was a 48.027 in the last qualifying round, unfortunately the whole qualifying 6 was canceled due to a crash and our time did not count.
The class finals consisted of the top 3 from each class and we missed it this year!
We are super happy with the weekend and we are excited for the next one!
Thank you for the massive amounts of support leading up to this weekend!
