💊 3 Common Medication Mistakes You Should Avoid
Taking medication seems simple—but small mistakes can affect how well it works (and even your health).
Here are 3 common ones to watch out for:
❌ 1. Stopping medication too early
Feeling better doesn’t mean the illness is gone. Always finish your prescribed course—especially antibiotics.
❌ 2. Mixing medications without advice
Combining over-the-counter meds, prescriptions, or even alcohol can be risky. Always check with your doctor or pharmacist first.
❌ 3. Taking the wrong dosage
More is NOT better. Taking too much (or too little) can reduce effectiveness or cause harm.
✔️ Tip: When in doubt, ask your GP—your safety comes first.

🧼 Hand Hygiene: A Simple Habit That Protects Everyone
Washing your hands properly is one of the easiest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of infections.
Germs can spread when we touch surfaces, shake hands, prepare food, or care for someone who is unwell.
🖐 When should you wash your hands?
• Before eating or preparing food
• After using the toilet
• After coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose
• After caring for someone who is sick
• After touching shared surfaces
💧 How to wash your hands properly:
1️⃣ Use soap and running water
2️⃣ Scrub for at least 20 seconds (don’t forget thumbs and between fingers)
3️⃣ Rinse well
4️⃣ Dry thoroughly
If soap and water aren’t available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
Good hand hygiene protects you, your family, and your community.
Small habit. Big impact. 💙
