She’s been sleeping way too much… time to get rid of the cobwebs…

Our team entered the weekend at Red Star Raceway with a resolute determination to optimize the race performance of Areli, our Lotus 7 race car supplied by Leet Racing, in preparation for the inaugural event of the season. Pre-event testing had raised concerns regarding the vehicle's reluctance to change direction at low speeds, and Friday's opening test session validated our apprehensions, as heavy understeer resulted in significant lap time losses. We undertook rigorous fine-tuning adjustments, incrementally bridging the gap to the frontrunners. Race 1 on Saturday commenced positively, but a sudden loss of third gear relegated us several positions. Fortunately, Areli demonstrated resilience and exhibited strong race pace, enabling us to mount a recovery drive through the field and secure a solid starting position for Race 2. Race 2 proved to be the highlight of the weekend, featuring intense wheel-to-wheel racing and a hard-earned third-place finish behind Nick Hodgeson and Sean Hepburn. Buoyed by confidence for Race 3 and prepared to deliver our best performance, our aspirations were curtailed midway through lap one when Areli suffered a catastrophic engine failure. The weekend concluded on a note of mixed emotions—numerous highs and lows. Such is the nature of racing. Our next race is scheduled for late March at Zwartkops Raceway.

As we soar into the second quarter of 2025, I believe it's fitting to celebrate the extraordinary past couple of months. Below is a snapshot of projects that have ignited our passion recently. Many of these are ongoing; all of these are customers who have blossomed into friends. Many more are yet to come. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one, and apologize to those I may have overlooked.

We recently had the privilege to play with the best in the business at the Secunda round of the North- Regions Rally championship. Walked away with some silverware and valuable time in the saddle.
