We're Hiring! Audit Senior

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Senior to join our Audit and Assurance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements, supervising audit teams, ensuring compliance with applicable auditing and accounting standards, and delivering high-quality audit services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute audit engagements from planning to completion.
- Lead and supervise audit teams, ensuring quality work and adherence to deadlines.
- Review audit working papers and supporting documentation prepared by junior team members.
- Identify and assess risks of material misstatement and develop appropriate audit procedures.
- Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and review audit reports, management reports, and other engagement deliverables.
- Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management and clients.
- Ensure compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), applicable accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor engagement budgets and timelines and report progress to management.
- Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to audit trainees and junior staff.
- Assist in resolving technical accounting and auditing matters.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Auditing, Financial Accounting, Accounting Sciences, or a related accounting qualification (CTA will be an added advantage).
- Completed articles
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in external auditing.
- Experience leading audit engagements and supervising audit teams.
- Sound knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and/or GRAP.
- Knowledge of Draftworx platform.
