Reflecting on the significance of Youth Day, we are pleased to report on the continued positive impact of uPhawu Community Development – an STBB-sponsored initiative benefiting children in need.

Our aftercare facility currently provides 63 children with a safe space to complete their homework and benefit from reading lessons. In addition, 22 children participate in our arts programme and enjoy regular quarterly outings, including to the Artscape and Baxter Theatre. Crucially, our soup kitchen continues to support more than 100 community beneficiaries through the provision of nutritious meals and food packs.

In the spirit of Youth Day, these achievements highlight the importance of investing in the development and well-being of children as part of building a brighter future for the next generation.
