This engineered stone we chose for House Q has the most interesting mottled grey tones with rust-like flecks. This option was perfect to complement our overall design direction but also practical for a family that does lots of shared meals, homework, play and life around their kitchen island.

Kitchen corners at House Q. The warmth of the joinery and use of natural stone celebrates this home’s tranquil and earthy surrounds, but we couldn’t resist adding a hint of delicate detailing with fluted glass cabinets, brass wall sconces and a charcoal little scullery around the corner.
