Jonathan Mogotsi Racing

Although he’s been driving on the wrong side 😅, the Polo Cup Germany race car has felt instantly familiar to Jonathan Mogotsi Racing - with a few key updates making it feel even sharper.

Ahead of the season opener in April, Jono had this to say:

“It carries familiar TCR DNA, but without ABS or traction control - which puts the focus firmly back on driver input. In many ways, it’s a TCR-lite, and an ideal foundation for stepping up into TCR or other highly competitive racing series.”

It won’t be long before the South African-built Polo Cup racecar makes its mark in Germany. 👀

Despite a minor mistake, I managed to qualify 2nd. The team have done a fantastic job to give me a solid car. Now to convert.

Qualify was close amongst the top 3. I qualified 3rd only 0.03 of a second off from 1st.

This weekend we'll be racing at Redstar and I'm extremely excited. Time to dust off the skills and work on it a bit😎

With the unfortunate loss of our real racecars in a trucking accident, I'll be setup again for some Sim Racing for the time being :)
