Incredible day with a group of incredible people doing the most incredible things! These twenty inspiring Young Leaders give me renewed hope for our future

It’s always such an honour to work with the future leaders of the Democratic Alliance and of South Africa. 18 years of growing our own timber, and the results are stunning. Final retreat for this cohort of amazing young liberals after a years of discovery and growth. (Penny Tainton)

There is a special joy in being able to work with a DA Young Leaders Cohort that just never gets old. They never fail to inspire, and always fan that little flame of hope that our beautiful country can and will one day thrive under strong , principled, courageous and committed lleadership.

What an amazing opportunity to work with the DA caucus of Members of Parliament this weekend, unpacking the critical aspects of leadership.

What a privilege to be able to work with an incredible group of people from across Africa and around the world, curious and interested in our elections this year.

This week was a wonderful experience, and I’m so honoured to share so much about our beautiful, complex, but resilient country with these committed liberals who are invested in our success. And, as we all anxiously await the results of the elections and the difficult political decisions that lie ahead for our leaders, ordinary South Africans, glorious in all our beautiful diversity, did us proud, welcoming the group, expressing hope and excitement, and displaying calm and determination to make their mark despite very long queues.

And so it starts…
