Neo’s Bestday...!

In 2015, Lucky Lekgwathi, former Orlando Pirates defender, launched his own football foundation. It’s purpose? - to assist the South African youth. Lucky has said that it’s all about giving back to the community – this community which gave him so much support in his football career, and now it’s time to give back!
Earlier this year, Nitrogen Advertising came to hear about Lucky’s Foundation and gladly assisted him with a refreshed logo design, and branded marketing merchandise – a wall banner, umbrellas, shirts and caps which we presented to him at our Johannesburg offices – and took some photos to record the occasion!

Nitrogen has become a member of SAACI - the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry

“Enterprise Development Initiatives”, as laid down by Government are just that; developing of local South African suppliers. Nitrogen draws upon a lot of different suppliers and service providers and has provided support for Limile Media in the form of some sophisticated equipment.
In March, Tebogo presented Limile Media with a FeiyuTech dual grip gimbal – for taking stable video and photo material, a Canon EF 35mm lens, a Rodelink Filmmaker Wireless Audio system, Kenko PL Fader and Realpro filters and 2 x Sandisk Extreme Pro 64Gb cards. We recorded the occasion at our Johannesburg office.

Our double page spread advert in the May 2018 edition of the Public Sector Manager magazine - apart from being a "through-the-line" ad agency doing Design, Radio, TV and print advertisements and Events & Activations, we are now branching out into printing and branding solutions - offering more than everything!!

Early on Friday morning on the 2nd March, Tebogo and Charles set out on the 300km drive to Mahikeng via Lichtenburg to visit the Tshidi Barolong Secondary School in the Northwest Province. The purpose of this trip? - to deliver much needed school shoes and socks to 60 needy school-kids, which had been identified by Mr Sello, the Acting School Principal.
On arrival, Mr Sello pointed out that of these 60 kids, most were heads of their households. He further told us that child-headed households are a grim reality across our country, and how important it was to not only identify them, but to give them every assistance possible.
It’s very sobering to hear about teenage children having to shoulder all the responsibility of raising younger siblings, clothing and feeding them, sorting out a place to live, all the while having to be schooled and educated themselves, makes you wonder what their future prospects are in the face of such hardship..
The kids were all gathered inside the school hall to receive their shoes and socks, where the proceedings began with them opening up with a prayer. With a few formalities and speeches of encouragement, the shoes were then handed out to a bunch of overjoyed kids. Tebogo and Charles both recounted how this was a very humbling and moving experience, so much happiness created by something that we just take for granted.
