• Die Bybel leer ons dat ons gedagtes nie net verbygaande idees is nie — hulle vorm ons lewe. Wat jy herhaaldelik d**k, begin kristalliseer: eers in jou hart, dan in jou gewoontes, en uiteindelik in jou omstandighede.
• Gedagtes van vrees, twyfel en besluiteloosheid stol met tyd in swak gewoontes en lei tot ’n lewe van mislukking en afhanklikheid.
• Negatiewe, selfsugtige of haatlike gedagtes kristalliseer in dade wat verhoudings breek en vrede steel. So word innerlike denke uiterlike realiteit.
• Geliefde, maar die teenoorgestelde is net so waar. Suiwer, liefdevolle en moedige gedagtes kristalliseer in gewoontes van selfbeheersing, vriendelikheid en wysheid.
• Dit stol uiteindelik in ’n lewe van vrede, sukses, vryheid en oorvloed. Wat jy in jou gedagtes koester, bou óf jou toekoms óf breek dit af.
• Daarom roep die Here ons om reg te kies wat ons d**k. Wanneer ons ons denke onderwerp aan God se Woord, word ons van binne af verander, en begin ons lewe dit weerspieël.
• Kies vandag gedagtes wat lewe bring — want jou gedagtes word jou werklikheid.
Gebed: Here, ondersoek my gedagtes en reinig my denke. Help my om elke negatiewe, vreesvolle en selfsugtige gedagte te herken en prys te gee. Vernuwe my gemoed deur U Woord, sodat my gedagtes lewe, vrede en oorwinning sal voortbring. In Jesus se Naam. Amen. 🙏
