ILLEGAL MINERS FLEE, EXPLOSIVE MATERIALS RECOVERED

REPORT:
Following tactical patrols in the Benoni area, members of Blue Hawk Tactical observed two suspected illegal miners.

When noticing the presence of members, the suspects fled the scene and successfully evaded arrest, abandoning suspected explosive materials during their escape.

A further search of the area was conducted, resulting in the recovery of additional explosive materials.

The following items were recovered:
(6) Green Wires
(3) Orange Wires
(4) Emulsion Sticks

Benoni SAPS and the SAPS Explosives Unit were notified and responded to the scene to assess and secure the recovered materials.

All recovered items were handed over to SAPS for further investigation and safekeeping.

STABBED MAN RECEIVES RAPID ASSISTANCE AFTER MEDICAL ALERT

REPORT:
Following a panic alert received, Blue Hawk Tactical was dispatched to the location.

On arrival, members found a 47-year-old male lying on the ground with an apparent stab wound to the head.

An ambulance was immediately dispatched to the location and arrived.
The patient was transported to the nearest hospital for further medical attention.

HIJACKED VEHICLE RECOVERED

ADDRESS: NAMARUNU COURT, CLAYVILLE

REPORT:
Following a SaferCity alert received regarding a hijacked vehicle in Midrand. Blue Hawk Tactical units mobilised to the location. On arrival the vehicle was found abandoned with no suspects present.

SAPS was dispatched to the location, and the vehicle was handed over for further investigation.
