12@Brompton 12@Brompton is situated at the foot of historic Naval Hill, one of two nature reserves in the middle of a city in the world.
In the Boer war the Tommies (as the English was called) made a huge stone packed horse on the east side of the hill as a signal "fresh horses" to their troops. Today it is kept whitewashed by the 'Friends of Naval Hill'. In the past 18 years we have dug up quite a few horseshoes as we are about 750metre away from the horse.
