The Faculty of Law of the University of the Free State (UFS) is presenting the Short Learning Programme (SLP): Principles and Processes in Mediation in April 2026. The programme provides a broad introduction to the knowledge and skills needed to practice as a mediator in South Africa within a variety of fields.

Focus areas for the programme include:

- Family mediation;

- Employment mediation;

- Community mediation;

- Commercial mediation; and

- Medico-Legal mediation



A limited number of course sessions​​ will be offered, and only a select number of students can be accommodated per session.
