What an unforgettable celebration for Lynette’s 49th Birthday at the beautiful Cape Grace Hotel. This was so much more than just a high tea. Being in a room filled with women who genuinely love, uplift, encourage, and inspire one another was something special to witness. A real sisterhood supporting sisters through every season of life. There was laughter, deep connection, appreciation, elegance and plenty of fun throughout the day. Definitely not your average high tea.

For this shoot, we explored what this season of life means, what needed to be expressed and how that could translate visually.

From there, everything else flowed; the wardrobe evolving and the mood, posing and use of light and shadow refined through our conversations.

The goal is never just to take photos.
It’s to create something that feels honest.

Lebo M Live | Going beyond the brief

We were sourced to capture behind-the-scenes content for the makeup and hair team at Lebo M Live, documenting the work that happens long before the audience takes their seats.

Once that work was completed, trust opened another opportunity. We were granted access to photograph from the pit alongside the official photographers during the live performance.

This experience reminded us that the brief is only the starting point. How you show up, how you work with people and how you deliver often determines what follows.

When professionalism meets preparation, doors tend to open.

A beautifully intimate celebration where love was deeply felt, happy tears flowed freely, and every moment mattered. From heartfelt vows to joyful celebrations, their wedding day was nothing short of special.

As part of the G20 ECSWG Meeting, we were commissioned to document the G20 Wildlife Crime School Competition and its Awards Presentation.

Working within a global summit environment comes with a very different set of demands. Security protocols are strict, access is controlled, and movement between spaces requires careful planning.

Throughout the day, our gear passed through multiple security checks and each transition between rooms required time, coordination, and foresight.

This experience reminded us that high-level events are not just about what happens on stage. They are about preparation behind the scenes, understanding protocol and being able to work calmly within complex systems.

These are the environments that prepare you for bigger stages and they shape how you approach every assignment that follows.

This publicity shoot for Skemergrond happened with very little notice.

We were approached because the regular team wasn’t available, and the shoot had to go ahead as scheduled. The task was to photograph character headshots for the entire cast; images that would be used across multiple platforms to promote the series at launch and beyond.

It reminded us that opportunities often come unexpectedly. Being ready … in systems, mindset, and experience, is what makes it possible to step in and deliver when it counts.

This Inbound Magazine cover shoot was a good reminder of why intention matters.

We spent a large part of the session creating strong, familiar headshots, the kind of images that feel comfortable and reliable. But those weren’t the images we set out to create.

The photographs that ended up on the cover came right at the end, when we consciously returned to the moodboard and the original vision for the shoot.

It reminded me that creative discipline isn’t about playing it safe. It’s about recognising when you’ve drifted into routine and having the courage to return to the plan.

Moodboards aren’t just references, they guide the story.
