🚨MOTORCYCLE WITH FALSE NUMBER PLATES LEADS TO ARREST🚨
BRACKENDOWNS - EKURHULENI
CPS Security members responded to a suspicious motorcycle and requested additional units to assist on scene.
Upon inspection of the motorcycle, it was discovered that the number plates fitted to the bike did not correspond with the motorcycle and were in fact registered to a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Further investigation revealed that the VIN number on the motorcycle had been filed off.
The male suspect was unable to provide proof of ownership for the motorcycle. EMPD was contacted and attended the scene, after which the suspect was placed under arrest for possession of a motorcycle fitted with false number plates and related offences.
The suspect was detained at Brackendowns SAPS for further investigation.

🚨STOLEN GOODS - ENDS IN ARRESTS🚨
GERMISTON- EKURHULENI
After a Ford Ranger was recently stolen, the complainant approached Germiston SAPS and subsequently identified parts believed to be from his vehicle being advertised on Facebook Marketplace.
An operational plan was put in place, and when arrangements were made for the delivery of the parts, law enforcement and security teams acted swiftly.
The operation resulted in the recovery of vehicle parts linked to the stolen Ford Ranger, as well as additional parts believed to originate from a silver Toyota Hilux stolen in the Germiston area.
Two suspects were arrested and were found in possession of a motor vehicle fitted with false number plates. All recovered items were seized for further investigation.
⚠️ A warning to the public: The market for stolen goods continues to thrive because there are individuals willing to purchase these items. Before buying vehicle parts or other high-value goods on social media platforms such as Facebook Marketplace, always request proof of ownership, invoices, serial numbers, DataDot identification, or other supporting documentation.
If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is.
By refusing to purchase suspected stolen goods, we can all play a role in reducing vehicle theft and disrupting criminal networks operating within our communities.
👏 Well done to all members involved in the successful operation.

🚨KIDNAPPING INVESTIGATION UPDATE🚨
EKURHULENI - GAUTENG
Following our previous post regarding the kidnapping of a businessman in the Nelspruit area, investigations and intelligence-driven operations continued relentlessly.
Through ongoing follow-ups and coordinated efforts between CPS Security, EMPD CLU, SAPS, Crime Intelligence, and all stakeholders involved, further intelligence led teams to the Sky City area, where a female suspect allegedly involved in the matter was successfully traced and arrested.
The suspect is believed to have received proceeds linked to the kidnapping.
During the operation, a white Mercedes-Benz GLE, which was allegedly used in the commission of the crime, was also seized for further investigation.
Most importantly, we are pleased to report that the kidnapped businessman has since been safely released. This positive outcome is a testament to the dedication, persistence, and cooperation of all law enforcement and security role players involved.
Investigations remain ongoing, and further arrests cannot be ruled out.
👏 Well done to all members who worked tirelessly to ensure justice is served.
