🚨 SUCCESSFUL JOINT OPS IN MONDEOR 🚨

A very successful joint operation was conducted in Mondeor last night, focusing on vagrancy, illegal structures and high-visibility patrols throughout the area.

A big thank you to Mondeor SAPS, JMPD, Mondeor CPF Sector 2 Patrollers, Fox Security, CPS Security, Fidelity ADT, SA Rangers, Calvin Security and City Power officials for their commitment and continued support of our community.

During the operation, 7 individuals were taken to Mondeor SAPS for further investigation.

These joint operations are an important part of keeping our community safe, and we appreciate everyone who continues to work together to address safety and security concerns in our area.

🚨 KIDNAPPING VICTIM FOUND SAFE 🚨

Following an extensive intelligence-driven operation conducted across Gauteng yesterday, we are grateful to confirm that the kidnapping victim was located safely.

During the operation, the vehicle used in the commission of the kidnapping was successfully recovered, providing a significant breakthrough in the ongoing investigation.

This successful outcome was made possible through the outstanding cooperation between DPCI, Crime Intelligence National, Crime Intelligence Cybercrimes, SAPS, EMPD CLU, JMPD, and various private security companies, all working tirelessly towards one common goal.

This operation once again demonstrates the value of intelligence sharing, teamwork, and coordinated action in combating serious crime and bringing victims home safely.

We extend our heartfelt thoughts to the victim and her family and commend every member who played a role in this successful operation.

🚨THEFT SUSPECT ARRESTED 🚨

CPS Security responded to a theft complaint at a client's premises in Florentia earlier today.
Our reaction officers swiftly responded and apprehended a suspect linked to the theft.

The suspect was handed over to Alberton SAPS, where a criminal case was opened. A second suspect fled the scene and remains outstanding.

Well done to our reaction officers for their quick response and professionalism.

🚨 SCAM ALERT TO BUSINESS OWNERS🚨

Yesterday, CPS Security assisted Germiston SAPS in tracing suspects and recovering items after a company was defrauded of equipment valued at over R100,000.

Unfortunately, this type of fraud is becoming increasingly common. Criminals target businesses by sending fraudulent proof of payment, fake purchase orders, or other forged documentation to convince suppliers that payment has been made. Businesses then unknowingly release stock before the funds have actually cleared.

In many cases, the suspects use e-hailing services or small transport companies to collect the goods, making the transactions appear legitimate. During this investigation, a storage unit was also uncovered where stolen goods were being kept.

⚠️ Our advice to every business owner:
• Never rely on a proof of payment alone.
• Confirm that the funds have cleared and reflect in your bank account before releasing any goods.
• Be extra cautious with urgent collection requests or unfamiliar transporters.

🚨BRIBE REFUSED. CRIME STOPPED🚨

Over the weekend, one of our security officers prevented the theft of diesel from a business premises after refusing a bribe from suspects attempting to leave the property with the stolen fuel.

The officer immediately requested backup, and our reaction officers responded, leading to the successful arrest of the suspects.

We're extremely proud of our officer for demonstrating honesty, integrity, and professionalism under pressure. In recognition of his outstanding actions, CPS Security has rewarded him with an incentive.

FIREARM RECOVERED
SOUTH HILLS - JOHANNESBURG

CPS Security responded after a concerned resident discovered an R1 rifle on their property.
Upon inspection, it appeared that the firearm had been dumped. The serial numbers had been filed off, making the firearm difficult to identify.

SAPS assistance was immediately requested, and the JMPD TRU responded to the scene. The firearm was safely handed over to the authorities for further investigation and the necessary legal processes.

We encourage members of the public to never handle suspicious fi****ms or other dangerous items. Contact the relevant authorities or your security provider immediately so they can be dealt with safely.
