What a wonderful evening at Benaroya Hall last Friday, with the Healing Heart of the First People of This Land performed by Seattle Symphony after the film screening. My relative, Adia Bowen, was the perfect soloist, such a beautiful voice and presence. My cousin Johnny Moses and his crew provided a beautiful blessing that would have delighted grandma.
It was amazing to see the hall completely full! What a joy to see so many friends and relatives and colleagues, and supporters! My spirit is filled with gratitude for every single person who was part of making it such a successful event, and for everyone who was able to attend and make the evening so memorable. 🥰🫶

Great week, with 4 screenings of The Healing Heart documentary, including Hibulb Cultural Center, Arlington H.S. and International Indigenous film festival at The Grand in Tacoma. Also received a generous donation from the Swinomish Tribal Community to support our work on our next documentary, about Fr. Pat Twohy and his work with tribes here in the PNW.

We are looking forward to sharing our film this Friday at the Lincoln Theatre in Mt. Vernon. We will have some fun, see some friends, and get dressed up if you like -- Melissa Ponder will be there taking photos on the Red Carpet!

We are looking forward to our 13th Annual Lushootseed Language Conference this Saturday, April 29th! There is still some space available if you are interested.
