A memorable first day at ICCSA 2026!
Today, the 26th International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications officially opened in Braga, welcoming researchers, academics and professionals from around the world for an exciting week of scientific exchange and collaboration.
The day was marked by the inspiring opening keynote by Prof. Claudia van der Laag (Oslo Metropolitan University).
Throughout the day, participants engaged in stimulating parallel sessions and workshops, sharing innovative research and fostering new international collaborations.
The evening concluded with the Welcome Party, offering the perfect opportunity to continue conversations in a relaxed atmosphere and celebrate the beginning of another exciting ICCSA edition.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making this first day such a success. We look forward to another inspiring day tomorrow!

ICCSA 2026 has officially begun!
The first round of sessions started half an hour ago, with 10 parallel rooms already in full swing before the Opening Ceremony at 11:00.
A great start to an inspiring ICCSA conference in Braga!
The submission of abstracts and full papers is open!
Each author must be registered in the electronic submission system (https://cyb24.iccsa.org)
Papers for the review procedure include first submitting the abstract (phase 1), followed by the PDF of the whole paper (phase 2).
