LENS is an independent, nonpartisan and non-profit organization based in Pristina, Kosovo.
It is founded on 20 May 2010 by communication and information technology experts, human rights activists and open society enthusiasts. The idea of establishing an organisation such as LENS comes from the common interest of its founders in increasing use of technology, making use of the opportunities it offers and raising awareness on the detriments of its misuse.

Two teams that have been supported by Lens presented their innovative prototypes in front of an audience, showcasing how circular economy principles can be turned into real, practical solutions.â»ïžâ»ïžâ»ïž
Interested participants had the chance to see first-hand how innovation and simple approaches could drive more sustainable and cleaner solutions for Kosovoâs and the Western Balkans future.
The activity took place as part of the Regional Conference on Circular Economy held in Podgorica within the EICEE â Western Balkan Eco Innovation and Circular Economy Ecosystem project, supported by the IPA III programme of the European Union. đȘđșđȘđșđȘđș

Nga 14 grupe konkurruese nga 7 komuna të Republikës së Kosovës, pas vlerësimit nga juria, dy grupet fituese janë:

Ne këtë takim, z. Yll Buleshkaj, Drejtor i Agjencisë për Parandalimin e Korrupsionit (APK), prezantoi mandatin e Agjencisë, rolin, sfidat dhe sukseset e saj nder vite.
Ai theksoi rëndësinë e drejtësisë dhe barazisë para ligjit si themel për një shoqëri dhe demokraci të shëndetshme dhe produktive.
Te rinjtë zhvilluan një diskutim aktiv, duke bërë pyetje rreth sfidave me të cilat përballet Agjencia, rasteve specifike dhe duke kërkuar këshilla për angazhimin e tyre të ardhshëm në promovimin e transparencës dhe integritetit.

Ky aktivitet u zhvillua nĂ« kuadĂ«r tĂ« projektit âDetektivĂ«t e TransparencĂ«sâ, qe financohet nga Instituti Demokratik i KosovĂ«s - si pjesĂ« e bashkĂ«financimit mes projekteve "Rinia dhe shoqĂ«ria civile pĂ«r integritet", i financuar nga Suedia (Sida) dhe "MbikĂ«qyrja e Integritetit nĂ« Ballkanin PerĂ«ndimor dhe Turqi", i cili financohet nga Bashkimi Evropian (BE). PĂ«rmbajtja e kĂ«tij aktiviteti Ă«shtĂ« pĂ«rgjegjĂ«si e vetme e pĂ«rfituesit dhe nuk pasqyron domosdoshmĂ«risht pikĂ«pamjet e KDI-sĂ« si ofrues i sub-grantit, as tĂ« donatorĂ«ve - SuedisĂ« dhe BE-sĂ«.

What a snap finishâĄïž
Many youngsters took part in a series of Bootcamps to craft, think outside the box, collaborate, and create prototypes with the potential to connect technology and contribute to peacebuilding. đ»âźïž
Prototypes such as chatbots, mobile apps, and web platforms were among the key areas where the youngsters amazed the crowd with their proposed solutions.
Over the span of three weeks, 7 Bootcamps, 25 teams, and 10 prototypes showcased before the audience, with 5 selected prototypes, are some of the remarkable numbers that show how youth, in a very short time, can make an impact in advancing peace.
The PeaceTech Bootcamps aimed to enhance youth engagement in peacebuilding and reconciliation processes through the use of technology, digital tools, and innovative approaches, while strengthening youth capacities in modern technology and encouraging critical thinking, cooperation, and creativity to build a peaceful society. đ€
This project is financially supported by the Peacebuilding Fund, in collaboration with UNICEF Kosovo Programme and IOM Kosovo.
