Fëmijët kaluan një kohë shumë të bukur në bibliotekë — duke dëgjuar një tregim të lexuar nga mësuesja e tyre, e më pas duke marrë pjesë në një aktivitet argëtues me puzzle 🤍🧩

Jemi veçanërisht të gëzuar të shohim programin e tyre të shkëlqyer të bibliotekës qarkulluese, i sjellë fillimisht përmes .kosova dhe që vazhdon të funksionojë fuqishëm edhe sot me mbështetjen e Bibliotekës së Qytetit dhe drejtorit Qazim Azizi.

Është frymëzuese të shohësh drejtues shkollash dhe mësues që lexojnë vazhdimisht me fëmijët dhe që në mënyrë aktive kërkojnë hapësira ku librat dhe mësimi janë pjesë e përditshmërisë 📖✨

Është gjithmonë kënaqësi të dëgjojmë përshtypjet e tyre të bukura dhe të shohim buzëqeshjet e tyre të mëdha e rrezatuese 😊

One of the happiest days of my life. I want to always remember it 🙏🏼🙏🏼the faces of Prishtina’s children, filled with amazement, and pure excitement 🤸‍♀️❤️

My family, my dear friends, the angel sisters at the cathedral who prayed for our success, and the spirit of my father all felt deeply present at the opening of the Children’s Library.

During the short and intense time my father was ill, he often told me that our daily library adventures and tours across Michigan and the beautiful city of Chicago helped him forget about his condition.

We turned it into a daily ritual of inspiration for Prishtina’s Children’s Library, gathering ideas on the latest child-centered spaces, programs, and ways to make learning more alive, and welcoming.

Even on days when he felt exhausted from his treatments or weighed down by sadness, I would say, “Come on, Dad, it’s research—we need to go together.”He would dig deep and find the strength. Off we went together, exploring another library, dreaming about what might one day be possible for the children of Prishtina. With every visit, our vision grew a little bigger, our hopes a little brighter ☀️

I always want to remember those days—our library adventures, our conversations, and the hope we carried together.

And I always want to remember this day: the smiles on the children’s faces, their excitement and wonder, and the feeling that something beautiful had finally come to life❤️📚✨

Some dreams are built with bricks and books, but the most important part is the love, faith, and people who help bring them into the world. My father was one of those people, and his spirit will always be part of the work I do ❤️❤️❤️

⚡️The Team behind 💕Safete Binaku, founder of .kosova born in Klinë and raised in Sweden after the war—Safete has brought the best of 🇸🇪Sweden’s education back to her homeland, investing her time, energy, and vision for Kosova’s children. Safete is an advocate for Gaza, and for children everywhere who are suffering, standing firmly in defense of their right to safety, dignity, and childhood. Self-funded, self-motivated, and driven by conviction and unfettered by obstacles, she has moved like a force of purpose through resistance, and limitation.

💕Suzana Aliu, co- founder of the TLPK and teacher - trainer in reading strategies educator of the Swedish and English Languages. Suzana is a devoted mother of two, a serious and grounded teacher whose work and patience brings structure, care, and depth to every learning experience.

💕Ardiana Selimi, education activist and executive director of Library Project Kosova—a program leader for this multidimensional project, she consistently went above and beyond, driven by a genuine belief in the power of education. Her leadership, tireless work ethic were instrumental in bringing this project to life.

💕Leurita Selmani, a dedicated and inspiring leader with the potential to guide even national-level programs. Through her calmness, commitment, and strong organizational skills, she successfully organized the architecture meetings, coordinated workshops, and played a key role in bringing this space to life.

💕 Drilon Shala played a vital role in overseeing the project, ensuring that every aspect of the construction was completed properly, responsibly, and to a high standard.

💕 Shpresa Salihu works at the intersection of fashion, community, and service. With an infectious sense of joy, she has used her platform to uplift children and families throughout Prishtina. She has also been a passionate advocate for Prishtina’s Children’s Library.

Together, they represent a rare kind of leadership that came together to build something that truly serves the children of Prishtina 🙌📚📖❤️

Rings Event helped bring the celebration to life with a fun photo booth, a red carpet that made every child feel like a star, and even provided the ceremonial red ribbon and scissors for the official opening ✂️🎀

A dream come true 🙏🏼❤️ When I attended Ms. Fejza’s anniversary concert two years ago, I had an epiphany during the event—I imagined her reading to children gathered around her in a circle, completely immersed in her warm presence and memorable voice.
