There are resorts and day tours, but Samoa is not overly touristy. Here's a list of rea*ons why you should add Samoa to your to-be-traveled list.

Manuia le a*o!

We hope you and your families are staying healthy and safe. All is well at Coconuts Beach Club, and we wanted to take a moment to send some warm, sunny thoughts your way.
There have still been no confirmed cases of Covid19 in Samoa, and the weather at Coconuts has been so lovely recently, we have enjoyed some amazing displays of nature’s beauty. We are just so disappointed that we are unable to share this with our guests.
When we built and developed Coconuts Beach Club, we never really looked at it as a ‘place’ or a ‘destination'. We have always described it using words like “Vibe” or “Experience”. Coconuts is not just beautiful Fales and tropical grounds. It is not just gourmet meals and delicious cocktails on the beach. It is much more than a relaxing spa session and a fun ocean activity. For it is the people that make Coconuts special. People like our amazing team and local staff. But most importantly, it is the special people like you that choose Coconuts for your holiday.
We understand and appreciate the current global situation. Lately things have been improving, however we simply do not know when travel to Samoa will resume. But there is one thing we are sure of: things will get better. And when they do, all of us at Coconuts Beach Club will be here, ready and waiting for you.
Given the uncertainty of when travel to Samoa will be possible, we have decided to offer some amazing deals and packages which can be purchased now as vouchers, and are valid for travel up to March 2022. Discounts of 50% or more are currently available! For further details please visit https://cbcsamoa.com/more-info/resort-vouchers or send us a message.
When you are ready to visit, we will be ready to welcome you to our friendly shores.
Until then, stay well and stay safe. And don’t stop dreaming about your next relaxing beach holiday at Coconuts Beach Club. We can’t wait to see you soon.

Manuia le Eseta to everyone.

Just a note to update everyone on the current situation at Coconuts. Because of the recent government orders, we have had to temporarily close down all resort operations (except our office) until further notice.
We want to thank all of our great guests who have supported us over the last 30 years, and we hope that everyone will stay safe and healthy during these very concerning times.
We look forward to announcing the re-opening, whenever that time may be. And of course we hope to see everyone back at Coconuts, whenever the circumstances permit. Fa'afetai lava.

Prime travel sea*on is coming up soon. Make your booking anytime this month (March 2020), and get a great 40% discount off our standard room rates. This applies to any travel period!

We want to wish everyone a Happy Independence Day today (6 months after actual day)
Please note that Monday is also an official holiday day.
In 1962, Samoa became the first South Pacific island to gain independence.
Description
In 1962, Samoa became the first South Pacific island to gain independence. This year marks Samoa's 57th Independence Anniversary. Be sure to catch hype and festivities of the Celebrations. Don't miss out on what promises to be an exciting celebration.
Samoans, along with Tongans and Fijians were the superpowers of the Pacific before the arrival of the Europeans and those connections among the three nations remain strong till this day through each nation’s royal lines.
In 1899 after years of civil war, the islands of the Samoan archipelago were divided – the Germans taking the islands to the west and the Americans taking the islands to the east, now known as American Samoa.
After the outbreak of World War I, New Zealand captured Western Samoa from the small German company stationed on islands and following the end of the war took administrative control on behalf of the United Nations from 1918 until independence on 1st January 1962. Western Samoa became the first Pacific nation to gain independence.
