We call on all interested sports clubs, organisations and the business community who are looking for a fun way to spend your Independence public holiday to register and join us for a guaranteed fun-filled event with lots of prizes to be won.

Samoa Touch Rugby Incorporated (STRI) executive and management were formally received by the Honourable Minister for Sports and Recreation, Afioga Seuamuli Letuuga Fasi Toma, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Tuanaimato. The meeting was also attended by the Associate Minister, Afioga Fiu Faaolatane Ponifasio Vasa, and Chief Executive Officer, Luatua Semiperive Epati.

During the reception, STRI President Matiu Tuileva Tuileva expressed formal gratitude to the Government of Samoa, alongside key partners and stakeholders, for their support which was instrumental for its successful campaign at the recent 2026 Asia Pacific Opens Touch Cup in Australia. As Samoa Touch continues to build its strategic trajectory toward the 2028 Touch World Cup, it remains committed to collaborating with the Federation of International Touch (FIT), the Government of Samoa, and partners to establish development pathways for local athletes.
