What is HIV? - HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus, a virus that is transmitted through unprotected sexual activities, contact with infected blood, and mother-to-child transmission.

From this virus, when infected or tested positive, can lead to a disease called AIDS. AIDS- Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome that destroys your ability to fight other infections through your immune system. Most infected people do not know that they are HIV positive, and that there are no visible signs to show that a person is infected.

Getting tested is the first step you can initiate for your safety and health. Through testing, you can explore options and services that prevent HIV, while enhancing your health for a better way of living. Testing for HIV can also improve your awareness knowledge and the safety of those around.
