Day 6 with F***y 🇫🇷 — saying goodbye to Đà Lạt with culture, coffee, and wonderful surprises.
Before leaving the highlands, we visited Linh Phước Pagoda, one of Đà Lạt’s most unique temples. Famous for its colorful mosaics made from thousands of ceramic pieces and beer bottles, it is also home to a Guinness World Record flower statue of Quan Âm, creating a truly remarkable place to explore.
Our next stop was the Cao Đài Temple, where vibrant architecture reflects a fascinating religion that blends different beliefs and philosophies into one harmonious faith. Its distinctive colors and peaceful atmosphere made it another memorable visit.
Leaving Đà Lạt behind, we began our journey back to Phan Rang. Along the way, we stopped to look for a coffee brand that F***y had enjoyed in Saigon, only to discover it was actually a local wholesaler instead of a café.
What happened next became one of the most unexpected moments of the trip. The owner warmly welcomed us, invited us to taste their coffee free of charge, and even showed us around his home and coffee plantation. We left with delicious coffee, coffee blossom honey, and unforgettable memories of genuine Vietnamese hospitality.
Sometimes, the best experiences are the ones you never plan. ☕🌿💛

Day 5 with F***y 🇫🇷 — peaceful nature and hidden gems around Tuyền Lâm Lake.
Today we left the city center to explore the calm and scenic Tuyền Lâm area. Our morning began at Thiền Viện Trúc Lâm, a beautiful Zen monastery overlooking the lake, surrounded by pine forest and fresh mountain air — a quiet and refreshing start to the day.
Nearby, we took the cable car ride connecting the hills, enjoying a wide view of Đà Lạt from above. Back on the ground, a small spontaneous stop led us to a colorful garden filled with playful decorations — one of those random but lovely discoveries.
We continued to Happy Hill Café, walking through flower paths and wooden viewpoints, taking time to relax, enjoy drinks, and simply appreciate the peaceful scenery by the lake.
Lunch was a local specialty: gà nướng cơm lam — grilled chicken served with bamboo rice, a perfect match for the highland atmosphere.
In the afternoon, we explored Datanla Waterfall on foot. Skipping the alpine coaster, we followed the stairs and forest paths all the way down — a bit tiring, but rewarded with beautiful streams, rocks, and cascading water along the way.
Back in the city, we made a quick visit to the iconic Chicken Church, one of Đà Lạt’s most recognizable landmarks.
To end the day, a sweet surprise at Blue Dream Bread — a cozy, Christmas-themed bakery with amazing pastries that even F***y rated as close to French quality.
A day full of nature, quiet moments, and unexpected little joys. 🌲🌊🍞

Day 4 with F***y 🇫🇷 — a day of architecture, history, and unexpected discoveries in Đà Lạt.
The day started in the most simple and local way: cà phê sữa and bánh mì thịt on a small street table. With the cool morning air of Đà Lạt, this classic Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and a crispy baguette filled with savory meat was the perfect and very authentic start to the day.
Our morning continued with a special and unexpected visit to Ana Mandara Villas Đà Lạt. As F***y loves French colonial architecture, our team managed to contact the resort’s sales team for a quick inspection visit. Walking through the peaceful pine-covered grounds and elegant villas felt like stepping back in time, offering a beautiful glimpse of Đà Lạt’s colonial heritage.
From classic villas to something completely different, we explored the famous Crazy House. This surreal and imaginative building continues to grow with even more unusual shapes, winding staircases, and dreamlike structures — a truly unique place that fascinates visitors from around the world.
We then stepped into history at Bảo Đại Palace, the residence of Vietnam’s last emperor. The well-preserved rooms and architecture tell the story of the final days of the Vietnamese royal family and the country during a fascinating period of its past.
Architecture remained the theme of the day as we visited Đà Lạt Railway Station, another remarkable piece of French heritage in Vietnam. The historic locomotive here once connected Đà Lạt and Phan Rang by a unique rack railway — a highly technical mountain train system that no longer exists today. Standing there, we couldn’t help but imagine the journey between the highlands and the coast.
Later in the afternoon, we discovered another new specialty of the “City of Eternal Spring”: Đà Lạt chocolate. Enjoying rich chocolate drinks and tasting locally made bars showed how this mountain city keeps reinventing itself with new flavors.

Day 3 with F***y 🇫🇷 — a journey powered by food from Phan Rang to Đà Lạt.
The day started with a classic Vietnamese breakfast: Phở Bò. This famous noodle soup, made with slow-simmered beef broth and tender slices of beef, is the perfect way to begin a long travel day.
As we rode through the beautiful mountain pass connecting the coast to Đà Lạt, we stopped for a relaxing coffee break — enjoying the cooler air and scenic views before continuing the climb to the highlands.
Arriving in Đà Lạt, lunch was a comforting bowl of Bún Bò served with Quẩy. Bún Bò is a flavorful central Vietnamese noodle soup known for its rich broth and beef, while Quẩy — crispy fried dough sticks — are perfect for dipping into the soup.
The evening was all about sharing food and good company. We met my Đà Lạt friends for a lively hotpot and grill dinner, a local favorite where everyone gathers around the table to cook and enjoy fresh ingredients together.
Of course, no day in Đà Lạt is complete without dessert. Yoghurt and pastries in one of the city’s cozy cafés added a sweet touch before finishing the night with a peaceful walk around Xuân Hương Lake, surrounded by the cool mountain air.
A full day of flavors, friendships, and highland charm. 🍜☕🍰

Day 2 with F***y 🇫🇷 — coastal adventures and local flavors in Phan Rang.
The morning started with a special local breakfast: phở vịt quay, a delicious twist on Vietnam’s famous phở. The rich broth paired with crispy roasted duck creates a unique flavor.
After breakfast, we rode along the spectacular Vĩnh Hy coastal road, one of the most beautiful seaside routes in Vietnam. Our first stop was Rái Rock (Hang Rái), where layered rock formations meet the turquoise sea, creating a dramatic landscape shaped by wind and waves.
Continuing the journey, we visited a local vineyard, a signature experience of Ninh Thuận — Vietnam’s sunniest and driest region, perfect for growing grapes. Walking among the vines and tasting fresh grapes offered a glimpse into another side of local life.
The day ended with peaceful coastal views and a visit to the famous Ninh Thuận sheep farm, where F***y enjoyed meeting the gentle flock roaming freely under the bright blue sky.
A perfect mix of local cuisine, coastal beauty, and countryside charm. 🌊🍇🐑

Day 1 with F***y 🇫🇷 — discovering the soul of Cham culture in Phan Rang.
From the Cham Museum to Bau Truc Pottery and My Nghiep Weaving Village (where F***y found a beautiful scarf), each stop revealed a piece of local heritage still alive today.
We ended the day at Poklong Garai and Po Rome Temples, driving through peaceful countryside roads lined with sheep and wind turbines — a scene that feels both ancient and timeless.
A perfect start, wrapped up with a light vegetarian meal in a charming Cham-inspired restaurant. 🌾✨

Tet feast in Vietnam is basically the soul of the Lunar New Year, a way to show respect to ancestors and keep the family vibe tight. Each region has its own flavor though:
North: Fancy and strict. You’ll always see the "4 bowls, 4 plates" rule, plus classic sticky rice (Bánh chưng) and frozen meat (thịt đông).
Central: Humble but hearty. Lots of small plates, salty preserved dishes, and those iconic rice paper rolls.
South: Totally chill and generous. It’s all about that giant pot of braised pork with eggs and bitter melon soup to wash away the old year's bad luck.
Different tastes, same love for Tet. 🧧🍲
