Well, that's the last time we'll be allowed in THAT museum 🎨🖼️🤭

Full-circle moment 🌅

First ship contract, 2007.
22 years old.
Cozumel every single week.
…and yes, I had hair back then. RIP. 🪦🥚

This place holds a huge piece of my heart. Every time I come back, it reminds me where I started, how far I’ve come, and why I fell in love with the journey in the first place.

Same island. New chapters. Less hair. Still chasing sunsets… and wow, this one absolutely understood the assignment. 🌊✨

As the sun sets on another year, I find myself feeling deeply reflective. Grateful for the joys, the lessons and the growth that came my way; for the interesting places I visited, the wonderful people I met, and the music I made with some unbelievably talented folks. This year also brought loss - my wonderful grandma left us just over a month ago - and yet, even in that sorrow, and while some other things haven't necessarily brought us happiness, they have brought my family closer, in the only way that shared grief and challenges can do.

I'm grateful to all of you, my amazing friends, my hard-working agency, all the fantastic cruiselines I perform on, my beautiful family and my incredible wife. My heart, while still slightly broken, is full ❤️

Here's to remembering, cherishing and stepping into the new year with love and gratitude 💛✨

Also, as I didn't make a Christmas post, please see slide 3 for some Christmas joy from Alexis and me! 🎄

Love to you all, and happy new year! Let's make 2026 the best one yet! 🌟

On Monday, we laid to rest my Grandma Leila - the woman who shaped me, challenged me, inspired me, and believed in every gift I had, long before I understood them myself.

From the age of three, she nurtured every spark in me… taking me to my first singing lesson, teaching me stagecraft, sharing her world of music, dance, art, and endless stories. She was my mentor, my coach, my fiercest critic and, secretly, my biggest fan.

She taught me to listen, to grow, to pay attention. That every experience is an opportunity for learning. She taught me how to perform, how to carry myself, and how to honour the arts in everything I do. So much of who I am is because of, and comes directly from, her.

She invested deeply in people and believed in everyone’s uniqueness. She had an incredible knack of helping someone discover that one thing that makes them tick, and nurturing it. Over the last few days, we’ve heard countless stories from the community about the impact she had. It’s blown our minds how far and how deep her influence went.

I’m so grateful she and Alexis got to experience each other - two dancers with soul, talent, and a whole lot of passion. The three of us shared so many silly, musical, ridiculous moments. Grandma’s final instruction was simple: “Never stop being crazy, kids.” We intend to honour that forever 😊

Even when I was far from home, she’d send voice notes of herself listening to Ella, The Duke (Ellington) or The Count (Basie) - singing, commenting, and losing herself in the music, exactly like when we were together. I’ve saved them all. Treasures. 💝

This week, my heart broke 💔 I’ll miss my very special Grandma Leila more than I can say. Yet while broken, my heart also feels full - full of gratitude for the utter privelege of having her as my grandma, and for what she has given to me, and to us as a family and a community; and full of love, knowing that she passed peacefully in her sleep, and that she has finally been reunited with Grandpa Clifford, 41 years later - dancing together again, looking over all of us with love and plenty of nachas (pride) 😌

“You did good, kid,” she’d say.
I hope I keep making her proud.

🕊🤍🎶✨

Somewhere between rock ’n’ roll and interpretive face art 🎹🔥

📸: ✌🏻

In science, if you don’t make a discovery, eventually someone else will. The truths of the universe already exist — it’s only a matter of time before they’re uncovered.

But in art? It’s the opposite.
If you don’t create that song 🎼, paint that piece 🎨, write that story ✍🏼, no one else ever will. No one before you, and no one after you, can make exactly what you were meant to make. That’s the power of creativity. It’s not about uncovering truth — it’s about expressing something only you can bring into existence. 💫💖✨

Neil deGrasse Tyson, astrophysicist known for making the cosmos understandable and deeply human, offered this perspective that every creative person should hear.

🪐 As the director of the Hayden Planetarium and one of the most influential science communicators of our time, Tyson has spent decades exploring the universe — but in this one moment, he spoke to the soul of the artist.

He spoke about the profound difference between science and art — and once you hear it, it stays with you.

Tyson put it beautifully: science is the discovery of preexisting laws; art is the creation of something entirely new — an unrepeatable expression of the individual.✨

So the next time you doubt your creativity, or feel like your work doesn’t matter, remember this. ♥️😌
