Windows 10 Privacy settings...

If you have installed Windows10 & simply accepted the default configuration settings, you would be amazed what Microsoft is learning about you!

One of the clauses is;

“your likely interests or other information that we learn about you over time using demographic data, search queries, interests and favourites, usage data, and location data”.

You have also given your PC permission to track your location and share it with advertisers. Also, if you use Cortana, to listen to you.

To check just what Windows 10 is actually doing to your privacy, simply type 'privacy' into the search box and press to go to the privacy setting.

Warning: doing this will, of course, stop your favourites syncing across computers, return web searches that don't respond to where you live and stop Cortana working.
