- Fear of making decisions or speaking up
- Feeling controlled, manipulated, or “walking on eggshells”
- Isolation from friends and family
- Confusion about what is real (gaslighting)

Though time may dim the sound of your voice,

Your laughter still lingers, a gentle choice.

In quiet moments, your presence is near,

A whisper of love we continue to hear.

The stars above shine brighter for you,

Guiding our hearts with a light so true.

Gone from our sight, yet never apart,

You live forever within each heart.

- Sudden changes in behaviour or school performance
- Fear of going home or being around certain individuals
- Lack of basic needs (food, hygiene, clothing)
- Withdrawal, anxiety, or excessive aggression
