Финтех-стартап depozit.uz разрабатывает финтех-платформу — универсального супермаркета микрозаймов и других финансовых продуктов, а также финансовых консультационных услуг.

Depozit.uz выявил значительные возможности привлечения новых клиентов для банков. В настоящее время банки или платформы не могут предложить потенциальным клиентам возможность оценить их кредитоспособность всего за несколько кликов. Как только пользователи узнают о своей кредитоспособности, платформа depozit.uz немедленно покажет им, какой банк может одобрить эту сумму, что позволит получить кредит всего за пять минут. UzVC is thrilled to announce its latest investment in Depozit.uz.

Depozit.uz identified a significant opportunity in onboarding new clients for banks. Currently, no bank or platform offers potential clients the chance to understand their borrowing capacity in just a few clicks. Once users find out their borrowing capacity, the platform will immediately show them which bank could approve this amount, making it possible to obtain a loan in as little as five minutes. This process is much faster than the current method, which involves reaching out to each bank individually and can be a time-consuming and inefficient experience. Depozit.uz will match banks and clients and generate revenue in the process.

UzVC National Venture Capital Fund, in partnership with Sturgeon Capital, has funded its fourth startup with a $100,000 seed round check. The startup is valued at $1,250,000, giving the fund an 8% stake.

The Fund's portfolio was replenished with another unique startup: Modme - Edtech SaaS platform for online automation of training centers. The founders of the startup, who are already owners of training centers, made the idea of a hybrid format of training and control in training centers a reality. With the help of Modme products, it will become much easier to manage a training center, whilst students and their parents will be able to easily take all the necessary information through their personal account in a simple mobile app!

Earlier, UzVC with its management company Sturgeon Capital announced the start of accepting applications from startups for financing and to date has invested in 3 startups: TASS Vision, Sug'urta Bozor and zypl.ai.

UzVC team was delighted to meet Ambassadors of Uzbekistan in foreign countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today.

The main purpose of the meeting was to familiarize Ambassadors with UzVC’s activities and plans with internationally recognized VC funds and organizations.

At first, Mr. Ambassador Alisher Shaykhov, Chief Adviser to UzVC, highlighted the main activities and achievements of UzVC since its establishment. The main focus was given to Master Classes for VC funds and business angels on 2-4 November, 2021, expansion of portfolio by 3 companies, the launch of Startup Growth Program in 16th November of this year. Then, the strategic plans on improvement of VC ecosystem were also mentioned.

Ambassadors expressed their willingness to assist UzVC at establishing connections with VC funds and other related organizations to increase the capacity of abovementioned plans.

We are thankful for Ministry of Foreign Affairs for organizing the meeting.

Сегодня команда UzVC была рада встретиться с Послами Узбекистана в зарубежных странах в Министерстве иностранных дел.

Основной целью встречи было ознакомление Послов с деятельностью и планами UzVC с известными фондами и организациями венчурной сферы.

Вначале г-н посол Алишер Шайхов, старший советник UzVC, рассказал об основных направлениях деятельности и достижениях UzVC с момента его создания. Основное внимание было уделено мастер-классам для венчурных фондов и бизнес-ангелов 2-4 ноября 2021 года, расширению портфеля на 3 компании, запуску Startup Growth Program 16 ноября текущего года. Затем были упомянуты и стратегические планы по улучшению венчурной экосистемы в стране.

Послы выразили готовность помочь UzVC в установлении связей с венчурными фондами и другими соответствующими организациями для повышения потенциала вышеупомянутых планов.

On December 7, UzVC National Venture Capital Fund invited the ten startups that had taken part in the first bootcamp of the recently launched UzVC Startup Growth Program to celebrate their success and to receive their certificates.

Together with the UzVC team, who also explained the future plans of the ensuing mentorship program, Usmon Rakhimjanov , Microfinance specialist at UNDP Uzbekistan, recognized the young entrepreneurs for their active participation.
