DAILY PRAYER

When the weight of my journey weighs upon me and the threats from the cynics echo around me, strengthen me Lord so that I can complete my mission on this earth. Provide for me the energy and spiritual nourishment to make it to the next checkpoint in my journey. I make the conscious decision to ignore the chatter and empty threats and to remember all the magnificent miracles You’ve done on my behalf. So I say to myself Get Up! Keep Going, because the Lord wants to meet with you on the mountain top of His presence. And as You speak Lord, tune my ears to hear Your whisper in the midst of the calamities that seem to be taking place. For it is in the calamity that You’ll teach me how to hear through the static and noise of this world. Connect me to my now and my next, as You did with Elijah and Elisha. I will finish strong and get the prize You’ve set up for me to receive. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

NIGHTLY PRAYER

Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
Psalm 54:4

God, You are my Helper. You uphold me and sustain me through the peaks and valleys of life. I want to leave the world's worries behind in a peaceful slumber and rest assured in Your love. There are no trials and tribulations too mighty for Your divine power. None of my fears are worth holding onto when I know You have my life in Your hands. Give me the strength to release my grip of control and relax. You keep me secure by Your strength. You know me and are acquainted with my worries. You love me despite my flaws and sins. I can rest in every one of these truths. Now, usher me into sleep like a loving Father rocks his child. In Jesus’ name, I trust and pray, Amen.

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants after you, God.
Psalm 42:1

My God and Savior, tonight, my soul requires rest. As a deer pants for streams of living water, my soul thirsts after Your Spirit. Day and night, I need Your refreshing presence to restore my soul and uphold my countenance. There are nights when I am restless, and thoughts thrash around my mind like waves upon the shore. Steady the waves, oh God. Calm the seas and speak peace over me as I sleep. When downcast and lacking rest, place me upon the gentle shores of love and grace. Let me feel the warmth of Your embrace. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

What an awesome Pentacost Sunday we had with our Spirit Lake Community Church. God is moving, the Church is growing and people are excited. We had the opportunity to give an update about HHIM and share from God's Word. Our time was refreshing, encouraging and uplifting. To God be the glory!

Sunday was an awesome and full day with opportunities to share about what God is doing through our ministry partners. We started out the morning with our Alive at New Life Church family in Jacksonville, FL What a blessed time we had worshiping and spending time with our family of God. After church was time with several brothers and sisters enjoying a great conversation over a meal. After spending most of the day with our Alive at New Life family we met with a couple to talk and share about how the Lord has been working through the ministry. Exploring how the Lord will use our new friendship in the future. We didn't make it back to the hotel until 9PM. What a long, ministry filled, relationship building, full, and blessed day. God is good!

We had an awesome visit with Lake Placid Community COG, Lake Placid, FL this past Sunday. We had an encouraging and uplifting time with our brothers and sisters. We were treated great and even had a good old church carry in meal. God is so good! We had a real blessing, my youngest daughter, Heather, came to church to be with us. What an awesome day. Didn't make it back home until the evening. We were tired, worn out but truly blessedwith a glorious day. Thank you Father!

Nightly Devotional Prayer!

When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained; what is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?
Psalm 8:3-4

O Lord, my God, how majestic is Your name. Your glory is clearly shown in the heavens' expanse and the earth's beauty. Who am I, Lord, that You even listen to my prayers? Who am I that You would bend down to bless, teach, and love me? You hold the universe in the span of Your hand. You command seas to rise with the tide and mountains to crumble under their own weight. You are truly majestic! I am grateful for Your powerful presence and steadfast love in my life. I pray that You would give me childlike wonder when considering Your creation and character. As I rest, give me a sense of awe at just how magnificent You are. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray, Amen.

We had such a blessed Sunday being with our church family at St. James Church of God in St James, Missouri. We have so many friends there, it's like going to a family gathering and Pastor Don Carson is like my brother, well he is my Brother. Great fellowship, worship and sharing the Word. When you see the last picture ask someone who was at the service about it. God is so good!

NIGHTLY PRAYER

Deliver me, Lord, from the evil man. Preserve me from the violent man...
Psalm 140:1

Dear God, as I prepare to lay my head down to rest, I first want to thank You for Your justice. Your righteousness extends to the heavens, and Your faithfulness to the clouds. Throughout my day, You have been my rock and shield; I am forever grateful for that. However, I come before You tonight with a heavy heart. Intrusive thoughts have plagued my mind for too long, causing distress and unease. Though I try to fend them off, I know I cannot do it alone. Please help me, Lord, to find peace and rest. Take these thoughts from me, and replace them with gentle reminders of Your love and grace. Moreover, I ask that You extend a helping hand to those in need. May they find refuge in Your loving arms and rest for their weary souls. As I drift off to sleep tonight, I imagine myself lying at the foot of Your throne. I imagine Your warm embrace holding me close, soothing my anxiety and calming my fears. Thank You for Your love and Your mercy. May it continue to guide me through another day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
