Obituary information for Donald Wayne Jackson 02/12/2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Jackson, one of the founding members of Hopkins Rural Fire Department.

When our rural community had a critical need for fire protection, Mr Jackson stepped forward. Through dedication, vision, and countless hours of hard work, he helped establish the department that has protected families, homes, and farmland for years.

Because of his leadership and commitment, our community became safer. His legacy lives on every time the siren sounds and a truck rolls out the bay.

We ask that you keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.
