Ok YAPAR will be out of food again on Sunday. I spent $600.00 that's it guys it's cost me last week $600.00 out of my pocket. I'm done I have no money to buy or to make up the shortages in donations.
YAPAR helps feed over 400 cats a week we need people to take on feeding in the 18th Street and ave B area .
YAPAR feeds from Pacific avenue all the way to Ave C and downtown. We also have animals that need kittens to be neutered.
If we don't get enough to support the rescues costs we will have to stop.
I can't spend time fundraising being on the streets every day and working a job.
I used my bill money to buy this last batch of food. With the rising costs and the other expenses I'm covering of the rescue it's at a critical point. We don't get funding from anywhere but private donations.
I have to cover the loan payments from the rescues SBA during the COVID.
I am a volunteer just like anyone else the rescue is not privately owned by any of the Board.
I will be totally broke and out of food by Sunday.

Ok where are the cat lovers in this community? YAPAR has been doing all it can to help with the TNR and keep homeless animals from starving in the community. We help well over 400 animals not just cats but when your pet's get lost they rely on food and water to survive this Yuma weather.
I spend my time on the streets in this heat supplying food and water with ice but our rescue is not getting enough to help. Only a few have donated to keep us going and I have spent my paychecks to cover the rest. In the past we have helped trap and transport cat's for people who needed it.
Every thing has gone up in prices including the rescues operating costs mail, fees, insurance. This has to be covered just to operate the nonprofit.
Now the food is running $600.00 per week and I won't even mention gas prices we personally cover when we are called to trap a dog in need

We do not get grants or funding from any other sources but personal donations from the public. We do not get wages for our time it's all volunteer.
When the public asks for help with found kittens it costs approximately $300.00 just to vet for exam, shots and more for spay/neuter.
Yes there is a lot of cats
But what do people expect us to pay these costs with?
