If elected, I promise to stop this infamous motorman from ever writing another ticket in Nassau County. 😂

Just kidding. That’s the kind of promise only a politician would make.

What I can promise is this: unlike my opponent, my campaign has been financed by We The People, no special interests and no developers. If elected, I will not be beholden to anyone except the good, hardworking people of Nassau County.

It’s time to push back on business-as-usual government and start putting the PEOPLE first. Only 8.5% of voters have voted at the time of this post.

🎒 BACK TO SCHOOL, NASSAU COUNTY! 🚌

Today is the first day back to school! As everyone gets back into the routine, please be patient and give yourself a little extra time on the road.

🚸 Watch for school zones, buses, and children. Remember, there may also be some brand-new drivers behind the wheel heading to high school for the first time.

To our new high school drivers: put the phone down. That text, Snapchat, or notification can wait. Your only job behind the wheel is to arrive safely.

Slow down. Stay alert. Be patient. And let’s make sure every student, parent, teacher, and school employee makes it where they’re going safely.

A friendly reminder about political signs…

To the people deciding to remove Cheryl Plaugher for Nassau County Commissioner, District 4 signs from certain areas around Hilliard: next time, smile. You may be on camera.

And before anyone asks—yes, the signs in question were placed within the applicable guidelines and with permission from the property owners.

What makes it even more disappointing? Cheryl’s signs were the only ones removed.

Having a different political opinion is your right. Removing someone else’s property because you don’t like the candidate they support is something entirely different.

Florida law contains protections concerning the unauthorized removal and destruction of signs, including Florida Statute §479.21 in circumstances involving signs permitted under Chapter 479.

Disagree. Debate. Support your candidate. Put up your own signs.

But removing someone else’s signs because you disagree with their political views?

That’s just classless.

The support from this community has been incredible. Every wave, honk, thumbs up, and kind word means more than you know. Thank you for standing with us.

We’d also like to ask everyone for one favor. While standing at these intersections, we’ve noticed far too many people driving while distracted by their cell phones.

Please, put the phone down.

No text message, social media post, or notification is worth your life—or someone else’s. We’d much rather see you at a community event, out around town, or stopping by one of our stations than meeting you on one of our roadways after a preventable crash.

Drive safe, stay alert, and if you’re heading to the polls today, don’t forget to vote!
