We are so excited to introduce our newest herd member, but we have a big problem! You see, she came to us with the name Dixie, but everyone’s favorite farm dog isn’t willing to give up her Dixie crown (seriously, just scroll and judge us 😆)… so, there’s a hot debate now on whether our newest herd member is PIXIE or TRIXIE, and we could only think of one way to solve it… a vote!! But since we are still working hard to reach our $5000 match goal, our friend, Carol, had the best idea…. From now until Monday, Aug 17th at 11:59 pm, each dollar donated gets you one vote for this pretty girl’s name!

Or send us a DM with your email and amount for a clickable pledge via quickbooks

Don’t forget to include your vote- PIXIE or TRIXIE 💞

And welcome to the herd sweet girl- we can already tell you are going to be so loved! 🥰

It’s no secret that I love my horses and my clients dearly. I’ve been walking through my own season of grief this summer- some in the public eye, and much more when I have moments of time to myself. We’ve had several students choose to step back for a while in the wake of losing their favorite horses, and, while I totally understand, it feels like loss piled on loss. It has felt a lot like failing these last few weeks when we haven’t been able to magically produce equally wonderful successors within our budget.

But always, but God... We finally have a very good candidate we are planning to bring back to the farm this weekend, and I’ve felt a little better with the knowledge that we are hopefully on the right track with this one. But, when you lose two absolutely incredible lesson horses, one simply can’t fill all the giant holes of the hoofprints left behind with one horse. So what next? Well, we have to keep looking. And in order to do so, we have to raise more funds. But again, but God. I just got off the phone with an incredibly generous donor who offered us an up to $5000 matching gift towards the budget for this new horse. 😭 The possibility exists for a budget that could bring us a very nice horse for the farm. I am so grateful. Can you help? Every little bit gets us closer to that $5000 match mark! You can donate via Venmo at , PayPal at [email protected] or DM us for a clickable invoice to pay via Quickbooks. As always, thank you for your support, your shares, and your prayers. Thank you for lifting me out of my sadness in the most critical of times. Thank you for going alongside me in this journey. 🫶🏻

💪🏻❤️ Just your reminder that riders with special needs CAN and DO achieve great things!! They just need to be given access that meets them where they are…. That’s where we come in! Adaptive riding doesn’t always look like riders on lead walking around the ring- it looks different for each and every rider we work with!

If you’ve been following along or to the farm, you probably know that Wilson has been on stall rest while we wait for his leg injuries to heal, but we’ve been taking him on short walks and letting him visit with his friends. Clyde is his favorite because he always gets the most itchy spots 😂

😉 Being an adaptive riding program means we serve all sorts of students with all sorts of abilities… but I think today was Ms Zoey’s first lesson serving a sloth 🦥 😂❤️
