Eric Kauffman Benefit / Memorial on Saturday March 28, 2026 at The Racehorse Tavern.
Bands, just a reminder. There will be a drum set provided by Denise & Brian Beach but you NEED to bring your stool and breakables. A Bass rig will be there provided by Sean Frazier, everyone please use that. A Marshall 1960A Cabinet will also be onstage for your use. We’re trying to minimize changeover times so please keep everything running on time.

Earl (Bass guitar) from Out Of Nowhere and Jim Beckley (Drums) from Age Against The Machine were both founding members of Dog Pound. Thank You guys and your current bands for supporting the benefit for Eric!

We are saddened to post the unfortunate passing of Eric Kauffman, Mr. Dog Pound himself. Our prayers go out to Eric's wife "Cher" and all of his family, friends and loved ones. Eric was the lead vocalist, lyricist and incredible frontman of Dog Pound since the very beginning. We will post any info on a Celebration of Life once it is known.
