Ran up to some alpine lakes, napped in a meadow, scared trout, saw elk, watched get sunburnt - sea level living doesn’t serve you very well up here but it sure is majestic.

First official work commute ✅
Not sure how often I’ll do this. Admittedly, it’s taken me about 3.5 months of thinking about it. Glad to be able to do it, we’ll see how tonight goes chasing last light on the way home 🤞🏼

I’ve been a photographer for most of my adult life, so I’m no stranger to watching people do cool stuff. But, surfing, is really hard to watch and not just get in the water. I give a lot of credit to folks like who have inspired me to check in with a camera for a minute even when the body isn’t working right or there’s too much work to do.
Unknown surfers, Charleston, SC - tag a friend if you see ‘em. I’d like to give a high five to the one with that drop knee style.

I think it’s safe to say that this will be the last Apple harvest of 2021. Looking forward to seeing how over sugared these frozen apples will press out and ferment. Thankful for this old unworked orchard and for friends who can hang at 6am.
