Attention Lancaster, PA Deaf Community:
Please spread the word… Mayor Sorace is planning to address citizens of Lancaster at 4 different locations around the city, and have interpreters available for Spanish and ASL. All of the following events will be 4-6 pm on each date:
June 21: Musser Park (135 N Lime St)
June 22: Culliton Park (200 S Water St)
June 23: Milburn Park (S Lime & Juniata Streets)
June 24: Buchanan Park (901 Buchanan Ave)

ASL Services and Living Word Community Church is hosting a Thanksgiving Dinner Saturday night November 16 from 5 to 8 pm. The event is FREE and open to the deaf community, interpreters, ASL students, and anyone who wants to communicate in sign language. Please bring a dessert to share.

This is a reminder about the Hearing Loss Expo in the Harrisburg area on Nov 13-14, 2019. This is sponsored by the PA Office for Deaf & Hard of Hearing (ODHH) and is located at the Radisson in Camp Hill. You will have the opportunity to visit various companies providing goods and services to the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities, and also have several workshops available throughout the Expo.

This Saturday November 19 is the annual Thanksgiving "Silent Coffee Bar" at Living Word Community Church in the York area. This is free and open to the deaf community, interpreters, ASL students, and anyone interested in communicating in sign language. The event is 5-8pm. Dinner is at 5 pm, and will be followed by a presentation by Ben Moonan from the PA Office of Deaf & Hard of Hearing (ODHH). Please spread the word.
Come and see Mr. Ben Moonan from the PA Office of Deaf & Hard of Hearing (ODHH). He will be presenting to the deaf community in York at the Thanksgiving "Silent Coffee Bar" at Living Word Community Church on Saturday Nov 19 from 5-8 pm. A turkey dinner will be served.
