Well the cat's outta the bag (so to speak)! Laura Elizabeth and I have spent the better part of this year working on our first children's book!
I am honored that Laura asked me to help bring her vision to life. It was A LOT of work, and a labor of love, so we really hope you enjoy it.
Now that it's finally finished, I look forward to sharing some of the processes in creating the book. Laura also helped in the illustration process, she hand-painted the watercolor backgrounds!

Happy 2 week anniversary Olivia and Owen! I am so honored that I was able to design the stationery for this beautiful September day. Olivia is a creative person herself (hey 😉) and was able to articulate her vision so well. I’m usually not able to attend the weddings I design for so this was super fun to see it all together!

Introducing 💕 HotBox BarbieQ Kart 💕 a mobile pop-up hot dog cart specializing in dressed up hot dogs, small plates and delicious drinks. Catch them out in Downtown Lancaster and surrounding areas this summer!
I loved putting together this custom illustrated logo and visual identity package - complete with color palette, mockups and supplementary logos.

✨Liv Local, LLC - A Brand Story ✨

My good friend Olivia Patrick-Thomas reached out to me excited about her new endeavor, Liv Local . When she told me the type of brand she wanted to create, I was pumped. She wanted vintage, a touch of groovy, and a dreamy color palette.

✨Logo✨
Olivia is an expert at social media management, and this is a core skill offering in her business. However, where her passion lies is photographing content for social media, planning photoshoots, and photographing people and events in our local city of York, PA.

✨Color Palette✨
Pink seemed to be the constant that we kept going back to, it’s such a strong recognizable color. But let’s balance that with some feel good greens and a touch of yellow.

✨Pattern✨
When using a pattern in your branding, it helps pull everything together. Plus they are just fun.

✨Variations✨
When I create a brand logo, I make sure to add in several logo variations so that my client has options to use over different medias. This also lessens the chance that the logo will be manipulated and changed. I stay a step ahead, anticipating my clients’ needs.

✨Usability✨
I always hope my clients come back to me to do their other design work. But let’s be honest, I work with small businesses who have a tight budget. I understand and even applaud that they take on the task of doing their own advertising. So I try to set them up to do this successfully by supplying a brand guide and showing examples of the logo in use, in multiple variations.

I am so grateful to for offering their mentorship program. I’ve been paired with the amazing Mindy Christian, who’s not just a mentor but a new friend. We had a blast connecting with new and existing connections at the WBCO networking mixer!

My mind is buzzing from all of the incredible presenters and the engaging conversations at the Youth Crime Summit by York County Safety Collab. I was happy to be invited, and can’t wait to take all of this information to lead my digital influencers for the Teen Safety Collab this fall. Jamie Noerpel also did an amazing job organizing and leading the event 👏🏻
