Wonderful talk on Saturday at Creative York with Caroline Gildae, Vision Corps, on aids for low vision.

As the six week run of the inaugural InSight Arts show for visually impaired artists comes to a close on June 20, I look back and think to myself - I did it. I curated an outstanding show of impressive artwork, all created by artists who happen to be visually impaired. Sending a message of hope, resilience and strength to the community with a reminder to kindly schedule that yearly eye exam. It could just save your sight.

Below is one of my paintings that is available titled “The Sound of Silence” 18” x 18” mixed media on board and custom framed. It is available, as our other pieces in the show. This is a show that benefits the artists, all of which I have worked with over the past few years, curating their work for various shows. Most have been donations. These artists are deserving in this exposure. Inquiries welcome.

InSight Arts is proud to host two educational, informative, and fun talks at creative York in York PA on Saturday, June 13.

At 11 AM Caroline Gildae, Vision Corps, will reveal tips and tricks on navigating the world with vision loss.

At 1 PM, award-winning artist Mary Schultz will give a demonstration on painting intuitively. Mary has suffered vision loss through closed angle glaucoma, yet she continues to be a prolific and important artist.
