One Net Yelm is so excited to share the impact of our Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser benefiting the Yelm Senior Center we held at Mr. Dougs! 🥞

On Monday, we had the honor of presenting the Yelm Senior Center with a check for $7,419.63… all thanks to our incredible community.

A special thank you to Mr. Doug’s for being our event sponsor, to Jesse Kellems for leading the charge as our committee chair, and to YOU—for showing up with your hearts (and your wallets!) to support such an important cause.

This is what community looks like, and we’re so grateful to be a part of it.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support this event and help make a difference for our neighbors at the Yelm Senior Center. From the families who filled the tables, to the friends who stopped by for breakfast and good conversation, your support means more than you know.

Community events like this simply wouldn’t happen without people willing to roll up their sleeves and help.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the wonderful waitstaff and owners at Mr. Dougs for opening their doors, taking such great care of everyone, and helping make the morning so welcoming and fun.

And finally, thank you to this amazing community for always showing up. Your willingness to open both your hearts and your wallets is what makes Yelm such a special place to live.

We can’t wait to share the total amount raised for the Yelm Senior Center when we announce the donation on March 16th at their Dinner & Bingo Night. Stay tuned! 💙

Because of your generosity, kindness, and community spirit, so many local children and families will experience a brighter, more joyful holiday season. You helped make this event truly special. This is what Yelm does best — coming together to take care of one another.

Special thanks to Yelm Cinemas for being such gracious hosts, and Timberland Bank for helping sponsor free kids packs for all the kiddos who joined us. Thank you to Santa and The Grinch for taking pictures with everyone! Thank you to the Knights of Columbus for joining us to give away free coats.

Our next donation goes to the Yelm Lions Club in support of their annual Christmas Store — a magical event that brings holiday cheer to children and families in our community.

In addition to a warm and hearty pancake breakfast, the Christmas Store gives children under 12 the chance to shop for free and pick out a special gift for the adults in their households. Upon arrival, each child is escorted by a Lions Club member to select the perfect present — spreading joy, generosity, and the true spirit of the season.

We’re proud to support the Lions Club and their mission to make the holidays brighter for Yelm families. ❤️
