This was a Lonnggg Monday, hot shower is calling me by my full government name. Hope everyone enjoyed their day.

We just clocked off for the day, grabbing something to eat with a rooftop view of was great to see as it’s been too long. Who else is in the North East for the next week?

Setup is all done, waiting for the work to start rolling in, today should be a fairly casual first day and I can get back into a groove of spinning wrenches and throwing parts. If you see my feet hanging out of a dumpster this weekend, just mind your business Enjoying the experience so far, here’s to a lifelong obsession with motorcycles.

Good first day at the new job, hot and muggy, learning as I go. Coworkers all seem cool, everyone is here because of Motorcycles after all. Of course I nicked my thumb first thing this morning and bled like a stuck pig, at least I know I was well hydrated after breathing water half the day yesterday.

Been a long day and the Dyna has parted more standing water than Moses. Time to meet people as I wait for the dryer to do its thing. I can now check New York, Vermont and New Hampshire off my list of states.

Looks like we are going to be buying a place that needs a MASSIVE amount of cleanup/work as it has been vacant and occupied by wildlife since 2008. After not finding any Leasing company or Realtor willing to work with us, this is the best option available, a gentleman offered a property with building for $5k but it’s in central Illinois and over 500 miles from my daughter. Tomorrow is looking like it is going to be a long and Wet 600 miles ride to Laconia to start working for RickRack, unfortunately due to confirmation being last minute and a lack of availability on places to stay Anne will not be able to accompany me to NH for this Rally, however she is already very proactive in navigating purchasing the property and we received verbal acceptance of our $10,000 offer. After we attain legal access to inhabit the property then things are going to be very busy between working Rallies.

Party at the Pen East at Shawshank Prison in Mansfield Ohio. Started raining as soon as we parked, ironically the masses sought refuge by filling the cell blocks. Got to see bikes friends have built in person, admire a lot of hand built motorcycles in all varieties and appreciate the work and details put into a million individual parts. Once the rain cleared there was a lot of activity outside including Custom Cars, Vintage Dragsters, The Wall of Death, , , and vendors of all types Except a Coffee Vendor (outrage if you know my Coffee Addiction). Will absolutely plan better for next year to enjoy all 3 days as there was too much to cram into a one day run through. Here are some of the things that caught my eye, think I should’ve taken better/more pictures, show up next year with your own camera.

Few sweet old scores at junk stores. We will absolutely be back for furniture, kitchen items and decor after we get a place.

Getting tour of local hang out spots from a local, nice meeting strangers off the internet and having it go well. Got to see a couple local kids jump the falls, too cold for my scrawny arse.
