Kids who participate in our summer creative program have the opportunity to display at our end of the summer Junebug Art Show. We want to encourage all kids to learn to express theirselves and to take pride in their unique artwork! Each curated session will allow all participants to try different art mediums and then practice during self work time!

The first of our Creative Kid Sessions start tomorrow! Two sessions, Wednesday •June 10th from 9 am-1pm and another session 1pm-5pm Each session open to kids 8-18… $45 tax included! Register here! Tomorrow the sessions include making a a custom stuffie buddy, and decorating a home to take them home in! There will be other projects too! Painting, crafting and Pizza!

These are just a few of the adult classes we are offering for June - and I wanted to get them out ASAP - as they will be perfect for the 25th Celebration of USA - and 4th of July! Choose any Patriotic project during ANY of these listed dates! -

After reviewing interest and volunteer availability, we unfortunately will not be moving forward with our dream weekly Junebug Summer Creative Club program this year.
We truly appreciate everyone who reached out, shared ideas, and expressed interest! 💛

That said, this does NOT mean summer fun at Junebug is canceled! 🎨☀️

Instead, I will be meeting with a few volunteers to look at the possibility of offering select individual classes, workshops, creative days, and possibly other special events throughout the summer.

But please NOTE:
These events will:
✨ require advance ticket purchase
✨ have limited availability
✨ be announced individually

Our summer schedule and ticketed events will be announced by Noon on June 2, so be sure to follow our page closely — many events may be limited and will fill quickly!

As many of you know, Lisa is currently balancing major restoration work on the historic library, a busy summer season at Twist of Pine, and the launch of an exciting new business venture. But, because so many families have reached out asking for a summer kids program, she is willing to make this happen — but only with real commitment from the community. Planning staffing, supplies, and scheduling requires upfront investment, so we are asking interested families to officially commit by signing up their children or grandchildren before we move forward with the program.

We are considering launching a brand-new:

🎨 Junebug Summer Creative Club 🎨

A Tuesday-only creative summer membership for kids at

Junebug Art Café!
🗓 Tuesdays ONLY
May 26 – August 11
🕛 Noon–5 PM

Each Tuesday would include:
✨ planned art projects
✨ crafts & creative activities
✨ games & themed fun
✨ most supplies included
✨ a safe, creative place to spend the afternoon

This would be a PREPAID summer membership designed to keep costs affordable for families while allowing Junebug to plan staffing, supplies, and projects in advance.

⭐ FULL SUMMER MEMBERSHIP: $150
Includes:
✔ all Tuesday sessions all summer
✔ most projects included
✔ a fun bonus welcome package
✔ personal project storage at Junebug

⭐ FLEX MEMBERSHIP: $75
✔ access to the program
✔ attend for just $8 each Tuesday attended
❌ no bonus package/storage

OPTIONAL upgraded projects may also be available some weeks — but participation is always optional.

⚠️ IMPORTANT:
This program will ONLY happen if enough families commit BEFORE FRIDAY.

To move forward, we need:
✔ at least 40 committed kids
✔ volunteer support from parents/grandparents/family members/older siblings (16+)

💛 VOLUNTEER BONUS:
