⭐️2026 LLDS SENIOR SPOTLIGHT! ⭐️
We are highlighting Sara Lewis who will be attending West Chester this coming fall.
-What has been your favorite style of dance and why?
Hip hop has always been my favorite style of dance! I love how creative and expressive you can be. The all-around attitude and upbeat energy have also helped me become more confident in myself.
-What is your favorite LimeLight memory?
One of my favorite memories has to be sharing every week in my classes. I created bonds and friendships with my classmates that I will cherish forever.
-What is some advice you’d like to leave behind to dancers?
My advice would be, don’t be afraid to shine! Your teachers, friends, classmates, and the studio as a whole have your back. It’s so easy to be hard on yourself when expressing yourself through dance, but remember to be yourself!
-What will you miss most about LimeLight?
I will miss the support and family LimeLight has given me the most. Showing up to dance every week made me feel encouraged to keep being myself. My teachers especially taught me more than just being confident in dance, they taught me to be confident in my everyday life.
WE LOVE YOU SARA!!!💚🖤

We are highlighting Sophie Doleniak who will be attending Penn State this coming fall.
-What has been your favorite style of dance and why?
My favorite styles have been both jazz and contemporary. In both, there’s times to be intricate and sassy, and times to be slow and flowy. The ability to make it your own is my favorite part.
-What is your favorite LimeLight memory?
My favorite memory at LimeLight is any moment we get to hangout, talk, laugh, and spend time together. Whether it’s Wawa runs on dinner breaks, getting off topic learning choreography, scaring Miss Brianne, or simply just being together. Spending time with my friends is my favorite part of LimeLight, and getting to be with my favorite people doing something we love has continued to be the most rewarding and fulfilling part.
-What is some advice you’d like to leave behind to dancers?
A piece of advice I would give is to be in the moment, and take every opportunity that is presented, even if you’re scared to. There has never been a time I regretted doing as much as possible, but I have regretted not doing enough. Believe in yourself, and enjoy every second!
-What will you miss most about LimeLight?
The things I will miss most are the people. My friends and teachers who so quickly became family. The moment I walk through the doors of LimeLight, all of my problems disappear. No matter what kind of day I’m having, being there with them makes it better. It’s not just the dancing, it’s the laughs, the memories, and the feeling of belonging. LimeLight wouldn’t be what it is without the people, and I’m so grateful for every moment and to have made lifelong friends. Over the years, this place has become more than just a studio, it’s been a safe space, a second home, and somewhere I always leave feeling like everything will be okay.
WE LOVE YOU SOPHIE!!!💚🖤

We are highlighting Molly Laino who will be attending Millersville this coming fall.
-What has been your favorite style of dance and why?
My favorite style has been hip hop. Something about it is so freeing and fun. The sharpness and musicality of hiphop is so satisfying and part of the reason I enjoy it so much.
-What is your favorite LimeLight memory?
My favorite LimeLight memory is making the competition team. After not making it my first try, my motivation was higher than ever and really made me work for it. Meeting with the teachers and being told I made it was so special because it meant that all of that hard work really paid off.
-What is some advice you’d like to leave behind to dancers?
Some advice I would give to dancers is to just be yourself. Don’t hide your personality at practice. From experience, I can say that breaking out of my shell only made my dancing improve and made being at dance so much more fun.
-What will you miss most about LimeLight?
The thing I will miss the most about LimeLight is the people I have met along the way. The friendships I’ve made at here are so real and I have no doubt they will last a lifetime. My team is so special to me and the bond that we have is so so strong. The classes that I assist are also filled with dancers that have a special place in my heart. From the 3 year olds to the 11+ classes that I help out in, I’m grateful to be a part of everyone’s dance experience. Lastly, I will miss the teachers, who have made the biggest impact on my time at LimeLight. The teachers here care about what they do, and it shows. They only want was is best for their dancers and I will forever be grateful to have the support of such amazing coaches. LimeLight will forever have such a big piece of my heart.
WE LOVE YOU MOLLY!!!💚🖤

We are highlighting Asher Witman who will be attending York College of Pennsylvania this coming fall.
-What has been your favorite style of dance and why?
My favorite style would have to be contemporary just because it lets me express my emotions in more than one way and you can dance in your own way.
-What is your favorite LimeLight memory?
My favorite memory would have to be when we have fun days around the holidays, especially costume week. It’s always fun seeing the teachers costumes.
