The basement had been sitting there for years. Unfinished. Unused. Just storage and concrete.

Now it’s a full lower level — a main living space, a private bedroom with carpet and closets, a full bathroom with a stand-up shower, and a kitchenette with white shaker cabinets. A space the whole family can actually use every single day.

When a dishwasher leak left this Sinking Spring kitchen with exposed subfloor, our clients decided it was the perfect time to finally get the kitchen remodel they’d been wanting.

Out went the soffits and bulkheads. In came floor-to-ceiling white shaker cabinets that opened up the space and added tons of storage. We swapped the old mosaic backsplash for clean subway tile, added black granite countertops, and completely reworked the lighting—recessed cans, under-cabinet lights, and pendants over the island instead of the old bulkhead fixtures.

The result? A bright, modern kitchen that’s now the focal point of the house and ready for this young family.
