Braincell Camera Welcomes New Partner: Nathan Hyde

We’re excited to announce that our longtime shop manager, Nathan Hyde, is now officially a partner at Braincell Camera, the first step in a planned ownership transition.

Nathan has been a key part of our team since 2018, and his leadership, dedication, and passion have helped shape our success. We’re excited for the fresh ideas he brings—while continuing the exceptional service you know and trust.

We’ve just added the exciting new CTRL.5 focus system from Teradek RT to our rental inventory. Equipped with a sunlight bright 5” OLED screen, the new CTRL.5 makes lens mapping, focus pulling and camera control a breeze.

We just added the brand new Tilta Nucleus-M II wireless follow focus system to our rental inventory. This major upgrade to the popular Nucleus system has improved handset, motors and ergonomics. Paired with our popular Pyxis 6K camera, this makes a powerful, inexpensive package suitable for every level of production!

We’ve just added the new Canon C80 to our inventory. The C80 improves upon the popular C70 with an all new full frame sensor (the same sensor as the C400), triple base ISO, and a real SDI video output! This camera punches way above its weight class in a compact package. The frame grabs are from a project produced by , pairing the C80 and our popular Cooke SP.3 mini Panchros. Braincell Camera is now offering cinema monitor color calibration service! We’ve made the investment in industry-standard ColourSpace calibration software and probe to allow us to provide accurate, verifiable monitor calibration. Our system takes the guesswork out of monitor calibration and allows you to finally color match all your monitors. We even provide a written report on the final performance results. Due to popular demand, we’ve greatly increased our Teradek Bolt 6 rental inventory! The Bolt 6 incorporates Teradek’s latest technology for improved range and performance. We now stock complete Teradek TX:RX systems, additional RX receivers, and SmallHD monitors with built-in RX’s to accommodate every on-set need. 📸:
