Here are the Knights headed to Austin to compete in the Bloodfest 7s Rugby Tournament Social Division!

Though we’re away competing at Bloodfest 7s this weekend, our thoughts are with Lindsay’s friends and family. Lindsay was a server at our sponsor bar Ramblin' Rose and always exhibited the utmost kindness to DARC members stopping through for a burger and beer. Lindsay made everyone feel at home and will truly be missed by all that knew her.

Some members not out of town this weekend will be at her memorial Saturday to pay respects. Though she didn’t play rugby, she will be remembered by DARC as an honorary Dame.

The rugby community is mourning the loss of Anthony “Avocado” Alvarado.

Anthony was a constant source of positivity and embodied the best of what it means to be a club member, teammate, and friend during his time with DARC. We should all be so lucky to find joy in every match and tournament the way Anthony did. May his memory live on with everyone who had the pleasure of playing the game with ‘Avocado’ or simply got to know the man. Goodbye for now and see you again someday.
