๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Pride is about more than celebration, it's about community, belonging, and showing up for one another.

We're excited to share that a collaboration between Boston Indivisible, Massachusetts Indivisible organizers, Family Equality, and the Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) recently secured a $2,500 Solidarity Grant from Indivisible to support LGBTQ+ families and transgender communities.

Now we're building on that success.

This Pride Month, we're inviting our community to help expand the impact of that grant by supporting two incredible organizations:

โค๏ธ Family Equality helps create a world where all LGBTQ+ families can experience love, safety, and belonging. Grant funding will help support access to Family Week in Provincetown, where LGBTQ+ families can connect, build community, and experience the joy of belonging. Additional donations will help expand opportunities for families facing financial barriers to attendance.

๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ The Massachusetts Transgender Political Coalition (MTPC) works to ensure that transgender and nonbinary people can live openly, safely, and authentically through advocacy, education, leadership development, and community building. Additional donations help strengthen this vital work at a time when transgender and nonbinary people are facing increasing attacks nationwide.

Together, we've already secured funding to support this work. Now we're asking our community to help us go further.

๐ŸŒˆ More families connected.
๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ More support for transgender and nonbinary people.
โค๏ธ More belonging.
๐Ÿค More community.

If you're able, please consider donating to one or both organizations and sharing this post with your network.

Pride began as a movement. Let's continue that tradition by investing in the people and organizations building a more inclusive future for all.

๐ŸŽฅ This is what community action looks like.

This weekend, activists, advocates, and neighbors gathered outside Citizens Bank in Shrewsbury to call on the bank to end its financial relationships with private prison and ICE detention operators.

The message was simple:

People are not profit centers.
Families belong together.
Communities deserve investment, not detention.

Thank you to the Greater Assabet Indivisible Network GAIN, our regional C3 partners, and everyone who helped organize and participate in this action.

The most effective consumer pressure campaigns are the ones that stay visible. So we're keeping the conversation going, sharing the stories, and making sure Citizens Bank leadership hears our concerns.

Watch. Share. Amplify.

โœŠ Together, our voices are harder to ignore.

โœŠ Community members from across Central Massachusetts gathered in Shrewsbury this weekend to demand that Citizens Bank stop financing private prison and ICE detention operators.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, made signs, talked with neighbors, and raised their voices for human dignity and accountability.

We're especially grateful to the Greater Assabet Indivisible Network GAIN, our regional C3 partners, and the national De-ICE Citizens Bank Coalition for helping coordinate this powerful day of action.

When communities come together, we remind corporations that their choices have consequences. No company should profit from detention, family separation, or policies that harm our neighbors.

This action was peaceful, determined, and rooted in solidarity, with immigrants, with workers, and with everyone who believes people matter more than profits.

The movement continues.
